SCORE Features Composer Tom Holkenborg in ArcLight Hollywood Screening
LOS ANGELES — Hollywood’s premier composers were featured in a long overdue look at the integral part music plays in cinema in a new film entitled SCORE: A Film Music Documentary.
Several BMI composers including John Williams, Danny Elfman, Thomas Newman and countless others spoke candidly during the piece, revealing their insights into the process of creating music for visual images.
The screening, which took place at the Arclight in Hollywood, was highlighted by a Q&A with BMI composer Tom Holkenborg, (A.K.A Junkie XL), who appeared in the film. Along with these exceptional composers, the expertise of BMI Vice President of Film/TV and Media Relations, Doreen Ringer-Ross, was also featured in the documentary.
