Spitfire Audio to become Score: The Podcast's official presentation partner

LOS ANGELES and LONDON — Music technology company Spitfire Audio will partner with Epicleff Media, the creative production company behind Score: A Film Music Documentary, as an exclusive sponsor of “Score: The Podcast,” beginning July 2.

“Score: The Podcast” is a leading in-depth audio series that interviews prominent composers and other musical storytellers, exploring their careers, their projects and stories behind their music.

Now in its second season, “Score: The Podcast” is available for free on all platforms, including Apple Podcasts and Spotify.

Guests of the series include James Newton Howard, Harry Gregson-Williams, Bear McCreary, Junkie XL, Pinar Toprak, Ramin Djawadi, Diane Warren, Giorgio Moroder and more than a dozen more. The series has been featured in publications including Variety, and regularly breaks film music news.

The show is hosted by Emmy Award-winning journalist Kenny Holmes and Oscar-nominated songwriter and former President of Fox Music Robert Kraft. The series is executive produced by Matt Schrader, director of the 2017 documentary.

The July 2 episode features Get Out and Us composer Michael Abels, who has quickly risen to become one of the most sought after musical minds in Hollywood after his groundbreaking collaborations with Jordan Peele.

“Spitfire Audio products are used by virtually all of our podcast guests, so the Spitfire tie-in with SCORE: THE PODCAST is a perfect fit,” Kraft said.

“It’s exciting to hear from young composers who are listening around the world, looking to advance and elevate their music,” Holmes said. “Spitfire Audio is a perfect partner we feel helps both listeners and supports the continued growth of this show.”
